Terms of Service

By accessing or using Lovakid (“the Service”) at lovakid.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Service on behalf of a child, you confirm you are that child's parent or legal guardian.

Lovakid generates personalized, illustrated bedtime storybooks starring your child. Each story is created using AI-powered tools based on the information you provide (child's name, age, interests, and optional photo).

The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use by families.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at hola@lovakid.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who acts as the Merchant of Record. By purchasing, you agree to Paddle's terms of service in addition to ours.

Single Story Pass: A one-time purchase that grants access to one story. No recurring charges.

Bedtime Club & Dream Pass subscriptions: Billed monthly. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then.

Refund policy: Because story generation consumes real resources (AI compute, storage), we offer refunds within 48 hours of purchase if the story was not successfully generated. Refund requests after 48 hours are reviewed case by case. Contact us at hola@lovakid.com.

Prices are displayed in USD and may vary by region due to Paddle's localization.

Our content: The Lovakid platform, brand, interface, and underlying technology are owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Your stories: You own the personalized story content we generate for you. We grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, print, and share your stories for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Your content: By uploading a photo you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it solely for story illustration purposes. This license terminates when the photo is deleted — as soon as the story preview is complete, and never more than two hours after upload.

You may not resell, sublicense, or commercialize the generated stories without our prior written consent.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload photos of individuals who have not consented (or whose parent/guardian has not consented).
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Service.
• Use the Service to generate content that is offensive, hateful, or inappropriate for children.
• Share your account credentials with others or create accounts to circumvent usage limits.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated stories will meet your expectations in every detail. AI-generated content is creative and non-deterministic by nature.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lovakid and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of JAMS, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
